COVID-19 VIRUS UPDATE:
Your Parish:
We are not out of the woods of this very challenging time in our history and in accordance with Public Health Restrictions, the diocese has published a new set of directives for the sacraments in the following document 2022 02 18 +MHagemoen Directives re Covid19.pdf Please read as restrictions have been added. Please note the instructions from the Diocese regarding mandatory masking.

Please read the parish specific directives below.

Parishes will no longer have a restriction on capacity or be obliged to have parishioners sign up or register and contact tracing is not required.
Confessionals will again be used and alternative locations or arrangements may continue if needed.
Holy water fonts will again be filled
Hand sanitizer and/or alternate sanitizing options will be available throughout the church.
Families are not required to maintain distance between their family and other families or individuals throughout the celebration of Mass.
The Sign of Peace should continue to be done with a simple gesture, such as a reverent bow to avoid physical contact.
The priest will wear a mask and will sanitize his hands immediately before and after distributing Communion. Physical contact will be avoided when placing the host in the communicant’s hands and the priest will sanitize intermittently as necessary. For those who are gluten intolerant, special arrangements are to be made with the pastor.
Those who choose to receive on the tongue should continue to be the last to receive.
As a precaution, distribution of the Holy Communion (Blood of Christ) from the chalice will continue to be omitted to the assembly.
Celebrations and ancillary events may resume as usual.

Volunteers: We need volunteers to help coordinating people attending mass. Please help if you can volunteer as a liturgical coordinator or let us know if you are willing to be a reader.
Liturgy – We will be bringing back the various liturgical ministries and will need your help. Please help if you can volunteer as a liturgical coordinator or let us know if you are willing to be a reader.
Music Ministry - If you are comfortable to play music and/or to be cantor at Sunday Masses, please let us know by calling the parish office at (306) 244-1556. We need your talent!
Altar servers -Altar servers are in need for the coming day as covid19 restrictions are lifted. if your children are comfortable. Please contact the parish office. Thanks.
Dispensation from obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation:
- The general dispensation to the faithful from the obligation to attend Mass continues to remain in effect. However, those who are not elderly or health compromised are strongly encouraged to make the Sunday and holy days of obligation.
